Afro Descendent Arts & Culture trading as the Foundation for Arts & Culture Exchange (FACE) is a non-profit company registered in 2025 with the Companies & Intellectual Property Commission of South Africa.
FACE seeks to build a bridge between artists from the African continent and our Afro Descendant community, promoting the exchange of ideas, works, knowledge systems and distribution channels. Based on our shared experiences, heritages and histories of exclusion and exploitation, we seek to create independent and creatively nurturing spaces where all artists can exercise their right to freedom of expression and the dignity that comes with the fair and equitable valuation of their works.
